Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Lesser known facts

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Karan Johar are finally doing a film together for the first time after 17 years. Apparently, they had always made plans which never fell in place. Talking to DNA.com, about why she had said no to Karan Johar’s debut film, Kuch Kuch Hota Haiand superhit, Dostana, Aishwarya blamed her date diary which was always full. Aishwarya claims that, unlike any newcomer, her work schedule was always packed with multiple films due to which she could not accept KKHH, which ultimately went to Kajol. Apart from this, Aishwarya, Abhishek and Saif Ali Khan were chosen for Dostana but since the story was actually about two guys, Abhishek’s real-life partner moved out of the film. Saif too had opted out of the film. 

While Aishwarya Rai had missed out on two major hits, she has apparently replaced Kangana Ranaut in Sujoy’s film.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is winning praises for her red carpet appearances at Cannes 2015, has revealed that she has signed Sujoy Ghosh's next, reports Pinkvilla.com. The actress was quoted saying that after heading back from Cannes, she will begin shooting for Jazbaa. And once she is done with it, she will work on Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Jeena Yahan. But what caught everyone's attention is that Ash will be working on a film with Sujoy. This has left everyone wondering if it is the same film, an adaptation of 'The Devotion of Suspect X', which was earlier rumoured to have Kangana in the lead. However, Kangana had denied saying that she was never offered the film. If this buzz is anything to go by, then this might be the first time that Aishwarya will share screen space with Saif Ali Khan.
